Frequently Asked Questions
Are children permitted?
Yes! This trip is a great opportunity to strengthen the faith of our young ones. We schedule most tours when the kids are out of school, so that they would be able to attend.
Note for Families with Small Children:If your child will be under the age of one or does not handle car rides well, it would be kind to wait to take this tour when they are better able to enjoy the trip. We would like you, as well as your fellow brothers and sisters, to have a pleasant trip. (1 Cor. 10:24) There is no discount for children travelers regardless of their age. All children must ride in their own seat with the appropriate safety device/seat.
Will this trip have a lot of walking?
Yes. This trip will have a lot of walking and each person or someone in their party will need to be able to handle/carry all of their own luggage.
I need a wheel chair. Can I join the trip?
Yes. If you need a wheelchair, you will need to have someone in your own party push and/or assist you. Some of the tour locations offer wheelchairs for those who need them, upon request. We may be able to secure a bus with a lift, if you require a mobility device that you must sit in on the bus. However, you will need to pay for the additional seat space that the device occupies. Please contact us at 404-590-0320, for questions.
Why is the Bethel trip chartered by Dolyn Teatime Co. LLC?
By organizing as a group, we gain access to exclusive privileges typically reserved for companies. Moreover, we’re committed to honesty and integrity in all aspects, including giving Caesar’s things to Caesar, as we should. To further enhance the experience, we’ve added an optional Teatime activity to our trip—giving us an opportunity to enjoy these benefits and more in a delightful setting
Can I make my reservation by phone?
Yes.
Give us a call at 770-904-1837, and we’ll gladly handle your online reservation over the phone—making it quick and easy for you! The process takes about 15 minutes and will require your credit card information.
We’ll set up your online account during the call, but please remember to keep track of your login details, as we won’t store that information. We’re here to help make your reservation hassle-free!
English is not my first language. Can I request tours in my mother tongue?
Yes.
We’re happy to request that the Guided Bethel and Met Tours be conducted in your mother tongue. While we cannot guarantee this service, it is often available and provided in most cases.
Can we follow behind the bus in our car and tour with the group?
No.
Unfortunately, this is not an option due to safety and logistical considerations.
Can I go to teatime and the Holocaust museum in DC?
Yes, but not on the same day. The trip includes one delightful Teatime opportunity, as well as an opportunity for an enriching visit to the Holocaust Museum.
Will the Bus wait for late/delayed passengers?
No, this is not an option. Travelers are responsible for arriving at the designated pickup location on time, as the bus will not wait. If a traveler misses the pickup time, they may rejoin the group at another pickup location along the route, but this will be at their own expense.
Can the bus guarantee pick up and drop off times?
The bus schedule is subject to change due to traffic conditions, which are beyond our control. While we will make every reasonable effort to maintain timely arrivals and departures, we recommend planning ahead if you're flying in from other areas. To avoid any travel hiccups, consider arriving the day before the trip and booking your return flight for the day after. Your peace of mind is our priority!
Can I fly in to join the trip?
Atlanta (ATL) is the recommended airport for your arrival! We may also be able to arrange pickups from other airports along the route—just give us a call for more details.
I want a specific seat on the bus, can I reserve my preferred seat?
Yes, you have the option to reserve a specific seat on the bus for an additional fee. (This fee is waived for those joining us in DC.) Otherwise, seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis upon boarding at the start of the trip. Once you've chosen your seat, it will remain yours for the duration of the journey.
When are Payments Due?
Typically, the deposit is required at the time of booking. Balance payments follow every other month, with the final payment due 60 days before the trip.
For specific payment details, please check your WeTravel portal to stay on track and ensure everything is squared away.
If we don't have enough people for the trip and it has to be canceled for this reason, will our money be refunded?
Yes, WeTravel will refund your money to your original form of payment.
In the rare event that this occurs, you’ll receive a notification by email along with additional details.
Rest assured, if the trip sells out, it will proceed as planned, even if some participants can no longer attend.
Why do bookings with two guest only come with one king/queen bed?
Hotels typically charge more for rooms with additional beds or higher capacity. To keep costs as affordable as possible, our quoted rate is for rooms accommodating two people with one bed. However, if you prefer a room with two beds, you’re more than welcome to upgrade! A single surcharge will cover the cost for the additional bed across all hotels on the trip.
Are Payments Refundable?
Payments are refundable up until their due date.
For example: If your deposit is due on November 30th and you pay before this date, your payment remains refundable until November 29th. However, starting November 30th, it will no longer be refundable.
If you need to cancel for any reason, you’re welcome to transfer your reservation to another Jehovah's Witness in good standing for the same tour date. Should you find someone to take your confirmed seat and room, you may recoup your deposit or paid trip expenses directly from them.
How many bags can I bring?
Per Person: You may bring one large suitcase or duffel bag to be stored under the bus.
Carry-On: You're allowed one personal item to bring onto the bus, such as a small backpack or purse. Please note the overhead storage space is only 7” tall, so plan accordingly.
If you bring an additional item, be prepared to store it on your lap if there’s no available space overhead.
Should you have an extenuating circumstance that requires you to bring an extra bag or item, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Prohibited Items: Large coolers are not permitted
If I need to have a buy now pay later option, is there one available?
Yes! PayPal offers a variety of payment options to make funding your trip easier—some of which are even interest-free. If PayPal is the payment method you’d like to use, don’t hesitate to reach out to us, and we’ll guide you through the process.

Whenever we find savings, we’re always delighted to pass them along to you.
Will the bus have outlets and WI-FI?
Yes! The bus is equipped with outlets for charging your devices, ensuring you stay powered up throughout the journey. It also features Wi-Fi for your convenience, though signal strength may vary depending on our location.
What hotels are we staying in?
We’ve carefully selected top-tier hotels for your stay, ensuring both comfort and quality. These reputable establishments include renowned names such as Hyatt, Hilton, Hampton, IHG, and more—all of which meet our high standards with satisfaction ratings of 8 out of 10 or higher.
Each hotel features inside room doors for added privacy and security, and we personally visit and inspect every location to guarantee an enjoyable and relaxing experience for our group. Your comfort is our priority!

No, this is not an option. Every passenger must agree to the trip terms. By submitting your payment, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
If the price of the trip decreases after I booked, will I receive the lower rate?
Yes, booking early ensures you’ll always receive the best rate available. Should the cost decrease later, early bookers will automatically benefit from the best discounted rate.
Is the trip itinerary guaranteed?
The trip itinerary is subject to slight changes due to inclement weather, traffic conditions, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. Please note that no refunds will be issued for trip interruptions unless you have a travel insurance policy that offers a refund or reimbursement
IF we have 4 or 3 people in our group can we have 2 rooms for our group and pay the same price?
No, the reason the price per person decreases as more people are added is because they are sharing a room. Pricing is determined based on the number of travelers accommodated in one room.
If we have 4 people and a small child under 3, can we all stay in a room for 4?
Yes, you can add a child to a group of 4, making it a group of 5, for an additional $699—provided the child does not require an extra bed. Please note that this option is not available for solo travelers, groups of 2, or groups of 3.
